I guess no one can really help. My records are sealed. The only thing people tell me I can do is pertition the court but I really don't want to. I want to find ANYTHING out any way but petitioning the court. My birthday is 2/14/1984 and I was born in Stoneham,MA at New England Memorial Hospital. The adoption agency was Alliance for Children. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it!

Have you gone back to the agency and asked for the info? Even non-id info would help...besides, you can sometimes read what was blacked out.....or laying open on a desk...etc...

Have you gotten your on id? I was able to find my bmom the very day I got my non id. Please PM me and I can tell you how this all happened so fast.

My DH was able to figure out who his birth mom was from the non-identifying info. Contact the agency and see if you can get it. Also, if your birth mom has been in touch with the agency, they should let you know to try to facilitate contact.
It stinks that MA only opened its records pre-1974 (what is up with that?). GL!

Yes I sent the adoption agency a letter the other day. I'm anxious to see what comes back. :)

Yup the same thing with me Lovejax. Two minutes looking at the non id and it was all figured out.
