Hi, my husband are hoping to adopt a child from Poland. We are just getting started.
Could someone please PM me about an agency they have used? I'm looking into a couple and can't find much info.
My husband is half Polish and my mother in law (100% Polish) likes to have some Polish traditions during the holidays. Will this be a benefit to us?
One more thing -- what are the most important questions to ask an agency?
Thanks in advance for any help. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with trying to get everything started and figured out!

Yes, the polish roots will help you a lot. One thing I would ask the agency is to give you the contact information for other families who have used them. If they stall on that or don't give it to you that's a red flag. Happy families are usually glad to talk to people about thier agency. Another red flag is if a angency promises you a certain time line or a certain amount of time in Poland. They have no control over the time line or how long you are in Poland.
