I am close to petitioning the circuit court in Illinois to unseal my adoption record and wondered if anyone has an example of what a petition document would look like.
I can get a lawyer to do it for me, but they want way too much money for what they would be doing.
Just though I'd ask.

Hi I'm from IL also...my search angels told me that this is the worst state for adoption records. Please let me know what you found My try myself...I have used soaring angels as my helpers.
