I'm Jeremy, I'm sort of new here. After some searching, it looks like I posted in the search and reunion forums a few years back, but I really don't remember that.
I was born in South Bend, IN, in April of 1981. Since Catholic Charities was apparently in the habit of changing birthdates back then, I don't know exactly when, though I've always celebrated my birthday on April 1st.
I've decided to renew my search for my birth family, in part due to my own undying curiosity, and in part due to my own impending fatherhood. My first biological baby is due October 30th of this year, and it'll be the first person I've ever met with whom I have a biological bond. I know most (if not all) of you can understand my excitement. Baby's big brother (my 4-year old stepson) is very excited to meet the little one, too. :)
My life is entirely made up of my family and my music. I work a job to support those two things, but that's pretty much it for me. God has given me a wonderful family and the ability to create music, and I love both.
I guess that pretty much sums it up! Any questions or suggestions, be sure to comment!

Well, welcome. Sounds like you have your life together.
Do you have any more info on your bfamily? I noticed in another post that you were adopted through CC. There is only one Catholic hospital in South Bend. (St. Joseph)
Also there is a convent called St. Frances, (Sisters of the Holy Cross) that used to harbor unwed mothers. I don't know if this is any help, but maybe its a place to start.
Good luck in your search,
Saj

I was indeed born at St. Joseph, and I'm under the impression that St. Frances was involved in some way, but beyond that, I don't know anything at all. Even just the first little bit of information would probably start the ball rolling, but it's just so hard to get a grip on, you know?
The way I see it, I'm still young, so I've got plenty of time to keep looking, you know?
Thank you for the welcome and for the well-wishes!
