I'm an adoptive mom of a daughter from Guatemala and I love her dearly!! I'm now being faced with someone in my immediate family placing a child for adoption for what I feel like are all the wrong reasons. A little of the story is that my brother and SIL purposely conceived a child to place for adoption with her sister. Not for medical reasons either. Now they plan to make us all one big happy family but I don't think it will work this well. The baby is due any day now and our side of the family is falling apart before my eyes with this choice. Can this work and had anyone been through this before? They say the child is going to know they're the birthparents and they gave him/her to the adoptive mom/aunt since she couldn't get pregnant.I need some advice and I would love to hear anyone's story that may be similar whether the ending was happy or sad!! Thanks
