It's been awhile since I have visited this forum. How is everyone doing?I'm doing OK. My boys are ready to be out for summer. Today is little man's last day and next Fri is bigger little man's last day. ;)Any plans for the summer? We plan on spending a lot of time at the farm riding 4 wheelers and dirt bikes.

I am doing well, have put adoption plans on hold for a little due to being laid off in Feb. Hopefully a new job will come along soon. I have faith in God that everything will work out for the best. I had a dream recently and in it I saw a new job as well as new apartment and the words " Jesus Lives" so I know everything will work out well. I'm glad to hear all is well with you and your family. I look forward to those word of the day post again. Take care and God bless.

Keekee, we took time off in the middle of working toward our third adoption. (Not the same as pausing during the first, I know!!) It was so difficult to just stop and wait. This did end up reflecting well on us as being 'mature' and 'placing the needs of our children before our own' kind of stuff. When we took a break and put our adoption plans on hold it turns out that our soon to be Ds was born during that time. So while I was hurting that we were having to wait and fussing about all the things that I did/do, because I was being silly and lacking trust in the God of the universe!, our Ds was born and placed into a wonderful foster home where he was being stablized and the paperwork was being process so that he could be adopted. The point I'm attempting to make in my fumbling and ham-handed way is that if we would just relax and wait patiently on the Lord He does marvelous things beyond what we even envision for ourselves. It isn't always even part of what we envision for ourselves, but it what He has for us and we can be at peace, content, overwhelmed and blessed beyond measure by that.Bajj, an update on us: We're still doing the same ol', same ol'! :D Church activities, school, etc. The kids are growing and our youngest is now 4! This is the first time in a number of years that the youngest has been THAT OLD! We're all potty trained now, except for some night time issues with one. We're working on some ongoing issues with the kids and maybe even making some headway. (Due to prenatal exposure we work on things like developmental delays, some health things and learning disabilities/problems.) This summer we've got some Big Projects, like getting the garden set up so we can actually plant veggies next year. Some remodelling projects, a painting project, and rearranging bedrooms. Some of those projects are fun and interesting, some of them are kind of a slog. :evilgrin:Glad to see you back again! :)

We're doing pretty good here. My DH has lots of military training to do this summer, so C and I are pretty much on our own. C is doing fantastic though! He's doing great with his tastes by mouth, is cruising all over the furniture and is really talking a lot! :flower: He'll be having a heart cath in July to confirm that things are still working good, and then he can go down to seeing cardiology every 6 months. His (hopefully) final open heart surgery won't be for a few more years, until he is maybe 4. Huge answers to prayer!
