I have been looking for my daughter for the past 25 years. Until she turned 18 I only looked for her in faces of little girls who were her age. I've been registered on every adoption site known to man since she turned 18 and I've never once even came close to finding single soul born in Knoxville, TN on 12/1/84...well. Last month I started posting on my facebook that I am looking for my daughter with the city and date of birth and I asked all of my "friends" on there (i don't even know half of them on there) to re-post it to their wall.. then to ask their friends to re-post it and so on and so on. I did this every day for a month.. THAT'S ALL.. I've looked on these sites for 8 years and in one month I found my daughter. Just by chance and because it went out to so many thousands of people, it came across this actor in NYC's facebook page and he emailed me immediately. He's famous so I'm not using his name without his permission. ANYWAY... he asked her a bunch of questions..they matched...he told her he thought he'd found me and she was kinda upset at first because she'd just assumed she never would since it was a closed adoption. She'd never even registered and she didn't talk about the adoption at all. Not that it didn't matter to her.. but, it hurt her to know she'd never find her biological parents. Well,After alllllllllll her answers matched mine (and I didn't say it first either) my phone rang...it said restricted number because I told him to do that before he called me with him being famous and all that. I didn't want him to think I was some crazed fan or something. I answered the phone and my daughter was on the other end. IT'S OVER THANK GOD!!! The empty is over! It's her.. she emailed pictures that made it definite that it's my daughter...and I also went from one minute not being a grandmother to being the grandmother of 2 year old twins and a 5 year old little boy.It worked for me.. it's worth a shot for anybody else too!
