I agree with your gut! :)

Suspicious with the siggy for backgroud checks.

It didn't look like you were still on (though now it does!) so I deleted the siggy and banned.

Ya, those siggies & homepage links are a big telltale sign for spam.

Remember too that if you ban someone and it turns out they are valid, they'll contact me to complain and we can always unban.
