Periods whilst breastfeeding on demand

Hi,

I haven't even started on the protocol yet, so I may be getting ahead of myself here, but I was just wondering whether it was normal for periods to stop whilst breastfeeding this way?

I know after childbirth they often stay away for several months, particularly for mothers who are breastfeeding on demand. Did any of you find the same thing?

I answered this for you on another forum also :-) I rarely ever had a period in the last 4 years. Most of those were when my son was down to nursing just a few times a day.
