no contact (just venting anger)

i was 14 when i had kate and placed her for adoption and then every year i sent a letter and photos of me and my family to her and in return i got a letter and photos back this was going fine up until 3 years ago when i didnt recieve anything back. the first year i didnt think much of it maybe they were really busy and just forgot (we are all human) so even though it broke my heart that i didnt get to see how she was growing up i went on with my life and waited, then the same thing happened the year after so. i wrote to social services family placement that i hadnt rei#cieved anything for last year and the next year. i got a letter back telling me that they are looking into it and would forward all my postbox stuff when they recieve it, so again i waited and waited and then this year sent my letter and pictures away and ask for my postbox letter for this year and previous years that i hadnt got anything, i got a letter back thanking me for my letter and that they would pass anything on they recieve and so once again i waited and waited and i hadn't got anything so i emailed them asking if they could tell me why i hadnt recieved anything for the adoptive family for 3 years and that i was told when i placed kate that every year i would recieve updates. all i got back was a email that they knew about what was going on and are looking into it.i just dont know what to do any more every year it gets harder and harder. i dont know what she looks like anymore all i have are pictures that are from 4 years ago. surely it can't take 3 years to get an update from the adoptive family
