I don't know if anyone on here was on here years ago when I was or not. If not, small re-intro. My name is Stephanie & I live in NC. We have 7 children, all internationally adopted. 6 are from Russia & 1 is from Serbia. We are waiting to hear from officials if we would be allowed to pursue 3 different children in 2 separate regions. Has anyone ever gone to Bulgaria & been able to adopt from 2 separate regions before? These are all special needs children. Including all 7 at home. We are excited & nervous. Won't give out more info till I know more for sure. BEautiful kids though & am on the edge of my seat. Trying to figure out fundraisers & how on earth we'll pull this off. YOu all know how it is. We will start our homestudy in November sometime. It can usually be done in less than a week so not worried about it at all. Already had the social worker out here last week for our final Russian post placement reports. Talked to her at length about this upcoming adoption possibility. She's been to this house before & therefore does not take her long to do our stuff. We are thrilled. never in a million years thought we'd end up w/ 9 or 10 kids nor ever think we'd end up in Bulgaria. Crazy where this adoption road takes you, huh? Anyone on here adopt multiple children? Anyone go to different regions? Anyuone have advice? Not so much adoption advice persay as much as Bulgarian advice & that process. How long does the Bulgarian process usually take if you do not wait for a referral? Thanks for letting me ask so many questions to start off with. Please, tell me anything you can about this process for Bulgaria. Anyone on here adoped from there before? Love to hear about it. Thanks in advance.

This is a great forum as well, I just don't know that everyone active over there is over here as well... I believe there may be one or two people who have talked about adopting from two different cities.... but I don't know who it was.... you can search the old messages... I seem to remember someone talking about this recently... there is also a list of blogs on the group.. so you will be able to follow other people's journeys as well as post yours for other BG PAPs to follow... I just haven't had the time to dedicate to a blog... so I haven't posted one!! Good luck with your adoption!!Yvonne
