I am very grateful to my birth mother for having the courage and strength to put me up for adoption. This is probably one of the hardest decisions a person would have to make, a selfless decision. She gave me the chance to experience a good life.. in the hopes I would have a normal life. The decision she made was so much better than the "easy way" out, abortion. She gave me life, and for that I am grateful to her. My favorite saying applies here....."Be kinder than neccessary for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.":wings:
I share your feelings exactly, as my mother "took the easy way out" 4 years before she got pregnant with me. I hope one day I can personally thank her for what she did for me...I hope all of us do:)

I'm very grateful to my birth mother as well. It was the most selfless act anybody could ever do..And painful, I cant even imagine.. But I am very grateful in her decision and even more grateful of having been raised by GREAT parents and having a brother[he was adopted as well] to grow up with.
I [we] could not even be here....So I try not to take anything in life for granted and am thankful that I was born.
There's a song by Mark Schultz called, "Everything to Me" that he wrote about his birth mother.
