Keri Cahill adopted her daughter Nastia from Russia, and then found Nastia's sister Anya. She tried diligently to adopt Anya, but it did not happen before Anya became too old under Russian law to be adopted.
She's desperately trying to get political and media pressure brought to bear TODAY to get the US Embassy in Moscow to reverse their decision not to grant Anya's student visa to come to the US. This is a long shot for Anya, but PLEASE join the facebook group, contact the media, and contact Senator John Kerry and Rep. Tiernan's offices.
There's a rally tonight in Marblehead, Massachusetts, which is being covered by a local tv station there. If you know anybody who lives in driving distance of there, please ask them to go.
