I found out that Lutheran family services wasn't involved. My mother required that the baby to be raised Lutheran. The adoption was done by a lawyer named Williams who is now deceased, not sure what happen after that. Please respond if you know anything we would like to connect with sibling.

Yes, mother filed a release with the State of Iowa, we now know the child was adopted out of Polk County in Iowa on August 1963.
