I am looking for my birth Mother &/or Father. I am 40 yrs old. I started looking when I was 18. I have always felt a longing to know my birth parents. On Jan. 25th, 1995 I went to court & the judge granted me rights to my records. When I got my birth certificate & held it in my hands & saw her name, Kellie Patrick, I was overwhelmed with emotion. I was looking at her handwriting. She wrote that! I was so excited! I then went to the attorney's ofc who did the adoption & he told me that she had used an alias! I was devistated. He said that there was no way for me to find out who she is. He said he didn't even know. I have always felt as though he was lying. How could someone use an alias on a legal document? I have registered with Deaconess Hosiptal, so if she were to ever come looking for me, she would be able to find me. I would love to meet her! I feel like there is an empty space in my heart, just for her.
