What is it with people? I posted a reminder about being nice because BamaMomma got snarky about the advice from sarah_christeacher and took it all personal. I think Bama just has her nose bent out of shape. How did she get anti-working mother out of that?

Well I'd be miffed if a day care worker told me they knew my child better than me, but there's ways to state that. The member who said it at least was polite about it, just like Green's response.
Just for the record, I'm anti diarrhea.

I have worked in a daycare where kids were left there 12 hours a day and the staff most definetly did know the kids better than their parents. And my husband works with people now whose kids are in daycare 12 hours a day, and are even sent to daycare when the parents have a day off work. The only time the parents are with their kids is putting them to bed. (If the 'help' isn't doing it.) So I see where sara_christeacher is coming from. Definetly not true of all parents, but yeah, there are plenty of them like that out there.
