Looking for son (I believe) of birth parents Michael Alan Devitt and Hollis Pace Hall. They were students at Univ of Florida in Gainesville and married briefly in 1961. I believe they had a son in 1961, probaly at the Univ of Florida Gainesville hospital, who was put up for adoption. My father is also Michael Alan Devitt. Hello Brendan my name is nikki dennis i live in louisville ky, my boyfriend was put up for adoption he was told because the parents were students and could not take care of him he is now 40 and was adopted out of ocala fla. They are not sure what hospital he was born in but they think mabe in gainsville he was born in 69. we do not know any names at this time but your story sounds just like his.please reply at nikus77@yahoo.com thank you so much hopefully this could be him.

Thanks for your reply. Timing is approximately right. I'm not sure about Miami though. Parents were from New England, though my father's family moved to ft Meyers fl in the mid-late 1950's.
