We are just getting started with our Polish adoption. We are sending in our application to St. Mary's tomorrow. We have a 7 year old daughter we adopted from Russia so this will be our second child. Our daughter can't wait to finally be a big sister. We are so excited to get started.

Welcome! We are waiting right now - for a little over 5 months. Getting started is exciting - maybe a little a more exciting than waiting - just have a little of the waiting blues. It's all exciting!

Sher973, I know how you feel. Waiting was the hardest part of our daughter's adoption in 2003.

We received our contracts from St. Mary's in the mail tonight, one week from the day that we put our application in the mail! We will be notarizing the contracts to mail back to the agency next week. I can't wait to get started on the home study process.
