Iam new the forum

I have some questions about breastmilk.I adopted a boy, he is 7 months now. I've thought to breastfeed him before I used hand breast pump and started with the beginning of January, I got no results after four weeks, I decided to buy the electric breast pump so I bought the swing electric brstpump.for two weeks ago I ordered domperidone 10mg 90 tablets, I eat 4 tablets a day now I have about 30 tablets and the rest I'll put the food I eat them.and I eat fenugreek every day until I eat herb fennel and anise.

but until now, I did not produce any breast milk

now I feel very worried about it, I do not know what I'll do more?

Hi!

It looks like English is maybe a second language for you, so let me make sure I understand correctly.

You are taking four 10mg pills of Domperidone a day, right? That is not quite enough to bring in milk. The least you should be taking is two 10 mg pills four times a day, for a total of 8 pills. After 4-6 weeks, if you are still not seeing milk, you may want to increase to 3 pills four times a day. Are you taking Fenugreek, Fennel and Anise? Or just Fenugreek? I am not real sure which way it is. The Fenugreek should make you smell a bit like maple syrup when you are taking enough. Generally that means that you need to take 610mg or so and you need to take 3 capsules 3 times a day. I don't remember the doses for Fennel and Anise, because I don't take either one.
