Hi everyone!
I am trying to adopt a couple of children in foster care. They are supposed to move in June for the pre-adoption placement. I am a single mother (or would be) and they said there will be no financial help until the adoption is final (at least 3 months later). So I am wondering if there is any help available from Churches, youth groups and other so that I can put them in Camp over the summer. I obviously cannot take so many weeks off work and without financial help, it is not possible to pay so much for summer camps. Do you have any tips? or should I push their move until August?
Thanks for any input!

Here the FSS (Family Support Services) in NE Florida is offering 6 weeks of free summer camp to any kids adopted thru foster care. The YMCA here is doing it and I'm going to register our daughter on Friday. She loves the YMCA cause of the pool and this time I don't have to pay for it! I think the YMCA also does grants or helps fund foster kids at camp...so I'd check with your local Y. If you have a church ask them too...I'm sure they would be able to help.
