Welcome to the forums. It's very normal not to feel any connection to your b-family. It could be a situation whereby your emotions are 'numbing out' or it could be that you just don't have any connection at all. I felt numb when I met my b-siblings but then when I returned to my home, I burst into uncontrollable tears. Reunion is filled with all KINDS of weird, confusion emotions, including no emotion, and reunited people describe it as a roller coaster. Here's an article that might shed some light The Recovery Process, Post-reunion - , although I'd say that the emotions don't come in neat one-after-another stages but rather like a confusing merry-go-round gone haywire. Feel free to share whatever you feel like sharing here. I've found the people here very, very supportive and hope you will too. Hopefully adoptees who've come from family backgrounds involving molestation will share their thoughts and experiences with you.
