Actually, as I understand MA open records law, only adoptees born before 1974 (I believe) may get their original birth certificates (it's a crazy rule, imo). You can however contact the agency. I know in my DH's case, the MA agency would "connect" the adoptee and birth parent if both said they were interested. Someone from your birth family may have contacted the agency already. Also, your agency can give you non-identifying info which may help you figure out how to find them. Best of luck to you! I am sorry that MA has such a moronic law.
