I'm so sorry, as I know these questions are asked a billion times, but with the nature of this forum, it's impossible to get agency feedback. We have Polish roots and believe we want to build our family through Polish International Adoption. Could you share the agency you used, feedback about that agency, total costs, and how old your child was at homecoming? We're specifically concerned because we have an 18 month old daughter now. We're thinking it will be another 18-24 months waiting to bring home a child, so our daughter would only be 3 or 3.5 years old. We do not want to adopt out of birth order, so we would want a child under the age of 3. However, we can't wait too long or we will risk aging out. Thank you! These boards are very helpful. Congratulations on the preliminary journey!My husband is a 100%, born and bred Pole. Roots are good to have when working with Poland.Our total costs were 40 - 50k (however - we adopted twins, took our daughters with us to Poland, and stayed the entire time and traveled, rather than taking two trips).I'll email you privately about our experience with this facilitator, as that can not be discussed here.The boys (twins) were 7 at referral, and 8 right after we got home. (Our request was for two siblings, same sex, between 4 and 8.)I would talk to agencies/facilitators specifically about your concern. If your chances are slim to complete before aging out, you may not want to take that big of a financial risk. They can't make guarantees, but they should be able to advise you to a certain extent.

I am Polish (dual citizen w/ US), and DH and I are considering adopting from Poland. We'd like to adopt a child (girl or boy) not yet in school (so up to 5), though ideally under 3, relatively healthy. We would also prefer to adopt a Polish Roma (Gypsy) child.
I would greatly appreciate PMs with agency suggestions. One agency in particular I am interested in is Huminska's Anioly (Angels), which deals exclusively with adoption from Poland.
We may be relocating to Germany next year for 3 years, so any info on if these agencies work with US families abroad would also be great!
