OMG! We was just left a message that there will be a match staffing with us via telconference Tuesday at 4:30 for a sibling group. I can't believe we wasn't told sooner i am so excited we will also know the outcome of who the children will be placed with. :happydance: But i am also scared of if we won't be chosen for these children i have been praying everynight for these children to be placed with me and my husband they are such beautiful children i will continue to pray that is all i can do please join us in praying for the placement of these children with us, thank you god bless

Praying for your match staffing at 4:30 today. Hope you are chosen. Are the children in the state of Florida or in another state? We are in Florida and our home study was approved in May. We have sent in some inquires, but nothing so far. I have been following those from Florida in their adoption journeys with interest for almost a year. We have not looked out of the state yet. I know you have been waiting for some time. Praying that these children are the ones.

No the children are in washington and we found out tonight they was placed with another family get this because the state the adoptive family lives in has better education for autistic children and the worker didn't even tell me i needed to research educational resources for autistic children that is the reason why we wasn't matched for the children i think the system it crap. I have inquired on 200 children so far and was call for a match meeting three times, so we are really bumed right now husband went to sleep earlier because we really thought they was being placed with us because worker said there was two families and we really match with the children so i guess it's back to square one again uggg!
200 inquiries and only 3 match meetings? wow, those are awful odds. I just started trying to adopt from foster care and now I'm more discouraged than ever! I'm definately going to start looking out of state. Good luck strawberri37 and please keep in touch. Don't let the sytem get you down. I know two couples who made it work for them and they are my inspiration. I know it will happen, we just have to be strong.

The children we wasn't chosen for the family declined that was matched with them. We had a conference call with worker and she sent us an email saying we are chosen to be there family, so everything is in place and worker told me last week that the forms for ICPC was submitted on Tuesday the 3rd Aug. And we have to wait approval before we go to see kids, How long does ICpc take The children are in Wa and i live in Florida?
