Just a quick question. Right now, we are fostering a biracial (AA/caucasian) baby - 9 months old. At what age should I start any specialized skin or hair care? She has very little hair right now. Very soft curls on the top of her head, but they turn frizzy pretty quickly. I have two children by birth (dh and I are both caucasian) and her skin seems much softer than theirs was (if I keep it moisturized), but it turns very dry if I don't get lotion on it right after a bath.
Do I need to use anything special right now? Should I wait to see what her hair texture will be like as she grows? Are there products I can buy at Target (or similar stores) or do I need to special order something from the internet? We try to use natural products in our home for the most part. Any advice is much appreciated.

I was in the same boat, when my daughter was born. I leaned toward the people who had bi-racial baby and took any advice he could. I have biracial friends who suggested putting lotion in her hair pink moisterizing and made it longer, but as he grew his hair texture changed and became much curlier, so I went to use the activator of company called only for me. is soft and keeps hair tamed beautiful curls also experience a little helps.

The Egyptians also used Castor Oil to encourage hair growth. They mixed it with Sweet Almond Oil to improve the aroma and make the oil smoother and easier to spread. Also malai in summer season mau not be such a good idea. Imagine feeling all oily and sweaty in summers. But it would do great in winters.
