Homestudy update has been approved and signed

I spoke to supervisor and she wants to discuss on Tuesday about the plans to travel to see the kids and we just found out that the girl we are adopting she is suppose to have achilles tendon surgery, does anyone know how long recovery is? so they want to find out her date of surgery then fly us there then after two weeks of meeting them they will come home to us. So i can't wait until Tuesday to find out more. I was thinking maybe asking if we can postpone surgery then when she gets here get the surgery done here, then while she is recovering here we can bond, and she would know i am here for her, my husband want to postpone surgery til she gets here so i am going to ask about this. I will keep everyone posted.:dance: :clap:

It depends...I think it can take a month or 2 at least and I would think they would have physical therapy afterwards to get the strength back. Good luck!

I recieved an email from ICPC Florida and we have been approved and they sent it to Sending state WA, so we should be flying soon to see kids, Yea!!!!!!!!!!!:clap: :dance: :woohoo:

Well i got the call from supervisor and.........We found out we won't go see kids til middle of December due to girl having surgery, so we have to wait even longer til Dec. I thought we would be going soon but we have to wait so i will be getting a photo book ready so they can start showing the children our pics any suggestions on what type of pics will keep everyone updated til then.........

:clap: I recieved an email today from Sending state They recieved the official ICPC approval so we are having a meeting via telephone with everyone involved end of this month to discuss placement and when we are traveling to sending state and to bring the children back with us.:cheer: I am so happy.

I would love an update! Our homestudy was approved today as well!!!! We're so excited. I've already submitted some inquiries.
