Adoption stamps?

I went on the postal service's website to see if they have any stamps to commemorate adoption to use for our adoption party invites.

Sure they do! For dog and cat adoption!

Uh, no thanks.

Forgot about that! Thanks for the idea.

Not that big of a deal for us, I just used regular stamps. I was kind of surprised that there was pet adoption stamps and nothing for kid adoption though!

When we adopted our now 4 year old in November of 2008, I didn't want to send out adoption announcements right at the same time I was almost ready to send out holiday cards so I had photo stickers made online (snapfish but I'm sure other sites do it) with his photo, full name and adoption date written on it and I stuck those to the back of the envelopes for the holiday cards, came out really cute.

I'm coming late to this, but I just bought stamps to send out adoption announcements. I was tickled to find out that they have FOREVER written on them. :) I'm a big old cheeseball because we're less than 2 weeks from adoption day!! :dance:
