OP has asked for the thread to be closed and they really are beating the poor dead horse. My gut says go ahead and close it, so unless someone tells me something different in the next few minutes I will close it. We can always reopen if I am wrong.

Sounds fine. I don't know what the rules on that, but yeah, people sometimes just go off on a tangent and not the topic.

That's fine. Typically we'll close on a one time request. If a member makes a habit of wanting their thread closed simply because she doesn't like what she's hearing, then tuff toodles. This though...is fine.:)
