info on foster care in ca

Hello everyone...first off I want to say I am new to this site,my best friend that is adopting a little boy showed me this. I am hoping this site is helpful.My husband and I are looking at doing foster care with hopefully adopting later.We are renting a two bedroom house but we are hoping to move in March to open up more doors. I have 3 children, 2 of them prefer to live with their dad. Unfortunetly, I can no longer have anymore children,and hope to expand our family this way. I finally called yesterday to get the ball rolling. I have the case worker coming to meet me next tuesday, I have to say Im excited but yet every nerous. I am hoping to get as much information on what to expect and how the process goes. If anyone has any pointers or info please let me know!!!!!
