lol...another "ethics" thread (on manipulative language used by agencies) started in GAPS which I have moved to "General Adoption Issues". Cath loves to start these threads there and it's not fair to keep using that forum as her platform so to speak.
I've already posted a respectful reminder once.

LOL! I am having my latte and making apple muffins and resisting posting
Didn't your mother ever tell you if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all?!!
I would feel better, but I don't think it would help the overall situation. ;)

I have resisted posting as well. I agree it's discussion. I'm just not sure it's very constructive.
I am also resisting posting. Honestly both sides have good points when they aren't being all snarky and rude. I do admit, I got up to go to the bathroom during the night and looked at my phone. (I was waiting for an e-mail from dh who is out of town) and saw the reported post, thought for a second about coming to the computer to mess with it, read the post and the ones after it on the phone and said, "forget it" and went back to bed, by the time I got on this morning other people were on it. LOL
I am glad I have to go to work now as I just can't step away from reading the next snarky post. Pathetic, I know!
I am looking forword to the simple 5th and 6th grade 'So and so said such and such to me and now we aren't friends' drama today. :)
Well, obviously I can't mod since I've taken the bait and AM participating! :eyeroll:
I do have to laugh when someone like Fadzi says that the he a) doesn't read the birth parent boards, b) wants the adoptive parent support boards to be for support, not for bparent critiques of agencies or otherwise, but c) doesn't EVER see recently placed birth parents complaing about any of this!
I think I actually laughed out loud and did one of these :grr:

I can mod the "discussion". since I don't have anything to say/add.
With all the throwing around of accusations and whatnot, no one seems to have offered a solution to the problem and it's now a thread about how each person interprets another's words. Nice.

That is what irks me. The AP's on that thread raising the biggest fuss (likie Fazdi and Supa) are the same ones who are also the loudest about how they never read the birthparent and adoptee boards because they don't like what they read there. :grr: is right!
Supa sans her earlier snarks is actually participating very nicely.
Interesting what everyone sees anyway...
oh she did not just say that?
oh she did.
Good Luck Christine....I highly recommend vodka before replying.

She still irritates the heck out of me! ;)
Okay, I set myself up. I know that. But if Manni continues with her current line of reasoning that's VERY clearly directed at me I might snap.
I KNOW I need to leave it because now I'm getting fairly emotionally triggered.....
I want to post about adoptees who always play the victim: may I? Please? Oh, and could I please have a new screen name to do so?

she can be mean elsewhere. I'm done.
Her first post was "I can't believe she said that" but not an attack etc. But she went on to attack Christine with the rest of it on her views and calling her out like that etc.
I'm just done dealing with her subtle and not so subtle anti bparent agenda. I'll make proper notes etc. on Monday. Right now I need coffee & my paper as I just woke up.
