Holiday tip for college students!!

If your in college like me, and were in the FC program and don't have a place to stay during Christmas break yet, here's a tip! Don't discount higher priced hotel chains!! (like I did last year). "Unofficially" the Marriott (and other big hotels im told) extends the employee discount to students that were in FC if they have an available room! (It's on a case by case basis, but it's worth calling!) There are rules of course. - Must show your student ID- has to be extended stay. (for me it's 12 days).- no other overnight guests, and no parties- The rate must be pre-paid with a refundable $200 deposit.I just got a room at the courtyard Marriott for $32 a night! And it comes with it's own kitchenette, has a fitness center, internet, indoor pool and free breakfast! I'm SOOOOO stoked! Hint: book NOW!!Last year i was in a crumby no-name motel off the highway, and paid $45 a night without any of the above.Whoo hoo!!
