It is a passive registry but seeing how you were born in the 80's you may have some luck that way. Thanks for all your help! I have done all of those things, as well as registered on every adoption search website I could find, searched in yearbooks at the local library, etc. I can't think of anything else to do next except petition the court, which is quite a process.

I know how you feel. I was born in Franklin LA my birth-mom and her family moved from Texas to Morgan city and then when i was born and she gave me up they moved back.I was adopted thru a lawyer though and he wont help me. I don't know what to do.
