adoption v. abortion

It's been getting into abortion v. adoption, etc. and there are a lot of judgments going on. The OP hasn't been back.

Ya, it's uhm...ugh.

1 - I think she's a troll but no proof

2 - I don't know that anyone should get to tell her what she should do but since this is a really dangerous procedure I hesitate to not allow the opinions on this topic.

3 - I cannot believe Hadley's post & think it's vile. However, I cannot stand Hadley and have zero objectivity when it comes to her. So I'm open to thoughts on that.

I can't say I'm the biggest aclee fan these days....so maybe I'll even you out? I do understand the desire to share medical information, but I do feel like her posts are full of judgement too.

Don't get me wrong, neither one of them are my best bud.

I think that neither of them has any idea of when their opinion is not appropriate.

oH Joy! Raven just responded to Hadley's adoption as abandonment statement...

Do you think this thread has outlived it's usefulness? (I have to admit my response/reaction is similar to Raven's)

I hear ya Kathy!

The interesting thing about Hadley is that when someone's offended by what she says she's SHOCKED because she "thinks" that she's defending the OP and being supportive.

I deleted Hadley's last post as she pretty much just attacked every person who made an adoption plan, adoption in general and it was just mean. I also gave her a 72 hour break because clearly she needs to calm down.

I didn't care for Aclee's post either. I wouldn't say it and think it's harsh but don't see it as an attack. If memory serves right (it is early now!), she said the reasons for wanting the abortion this late were selfish, not that the OP was selfish or abortion in general?

I closed the thread regardless...there is no coming back to anything good after Hadley derailed it so much.
