Aw, thank you guys!!!
Unfortunately it rained through the whole visit so we mostly stayed indoors. We spent most of our time in the kids section of Barnes and Noble with me reading books to Cupcake. :love:

We had fun indoors though :) I have never seen a kid sit so still while being read to though! Never wanted to rush to turn a page and was eager to read "nother one!" She also explained some bits to me (background on Dora and Diego, etc.) She didn't really want to read the gingerbread man in one of the fairy tale books, "cause he gets eaten, and it's scary," but then decided if I wasn't scared we should probably read it.
She is so great at picking up where we left off and after maybe two or three minutes of being shy, she's engaging and friendly and takes to me right away - which is awesome. :)
As for the next step, there's not too much to be done right now. They're busy packing and moving, but I'll be in touch soon!

Glad to hear that your visit went so well. Sounds like she has your love for reading/books. And FYI..You can sooo add those books to the reading list! :flower:
Your OA is going to take a different form, but I believe that it is going to work out. For some reason, I have a strange feeling that maybe Dee will be even more open with you after the move. That's just a feeling though..a hopeful one!
