ICPC denied

While I understand the differences in definition of the status of adoption vs fostering, the criteria is identical - at least when adopting from foster care in my state I have been through both processes. anything that would have prevented my icpc would have blocked my foster license. they asked the same questions; the same CW wrote up both reports. there have been too many high visibility foster kid abuse cases for states to take a chance on a temporary home. ETA - I see you are a CW in Florida. It may very well be that your state has different criteria for foster vs adopt I suspect that will change, given the number of high visibility cases you've had down there in recent days
