Almost 5 yrs ago.....I had a foster placement of a newborn. He was in care for about 16 month before RU. Almost immediatly after RU happened parents split with him to another state. I recently found out that he was back in town with his mom. I got in touch with the mom & she actually brought him over to my house last week for a brief visit! It was SO good to see him (he & my son got along so well!)....
I've thought about him so much over the past years. It was wonderful to be able to see how he's grown! I'm hoping for some sort of continued contact with him....

so glad that u were able to have that visit. i lost my special placement after 15 months however i am so very lucky that his dad allows me to get him one weekend a month. i hope u guys get to continue a relationship;)
