Travel expenses

We live in Pennsylvania and are considering adoption of children across the country. Are there grants or other funds available to help cover travel expenses such as air, rental car, gas, hotel? How often can we expect to have to travel if we end up adopting on the other side of the country? Do they take into account that you need to travel, when determining the number of visits you have with the children?
