We have been licensed to do foster care in PA for 3 years and just had our first interview for a sibling group. We would really like the placement to work out. We are with a private agency, however, I am wondering if it would be considered taboo or too pushy to email the county caseworker who interviewed us to thank her for her time, and express that we think the match seems like a great one? Any advice- just don't want to give off the wrong impression, the interview went really well but we'd like to do everything we can to advocate for the placement with our family.
I'm in PA too and went through a private agency for placement. I did do a follow up thanks for meeting/considering me call. I also asked if there were any other questions they had but hadn't had the opportunity to ask. It went fine for me. I don't think its too pushy. I put it out as thanks and do you need anything else? Short, sweet.
