I was wondering if anyone could help me. I was adopted in San Antonio, Texas. (The Texas Cradle Society.) I was born on June 8th, 1983. I was able to get my file when I was 18, but there was little information in it of course, and no last names. I was wondering if it is still possible to find my birth mother with the information that I do have? I know her first name was Kimberly. She said my father's name was Johnny. She said I had an older brother who was 4 years older than me (born in 79?), and that his name was Jeremy. I may also have first names of grandparents in the file, and I believe I have her age in the file as well if that would be helpful?
I thought about looking up marriage records in San Antonio, but unfortunately every single online search tells me to enter a last name, and will not let me search without one. It is driving me mad, as I know those are free public records, and I feel that if it would just allow me to sift through enough names that maybe I could finally find a Kimberly and Johnny and a date that matches and go from there. You know? I also thought about looking up birth records since I know Jeremy is 4 years older than me, but I am running into the same issue. They are free public records, but I have no last name to provide. I keep thinking if I found a Jeremy that was the right age, with a mother named Kimberly... you know? I just can't do a search with no last names.
Any suggestions on where to go from here? What to do with such little information? Any resources? Anything at all... ?
