I just would like to know why I paid the Genesee County Court system $60.00 for them to send my information to a Lawyer and i now need to pay them $300.00 and no guarantee. Why can't I just have the name myself! I only would like some medical information. I am a happy person with a great family. I thank my mother for life and not death. This is very frustrating!:hippie:

lovey CC isn't running a scam, they normally charge a $300 to $500 fee to open your files. The files have to be opened through the courts and then man hours to locate your 1st family. I'm sorry that you feel this way and trust me I understand ur frustration I've been waiting to hear if they've found my 1st family since Feb.

Well it is very frustrating. I would have just hired an attorney. There are no guarantees and the lawyer said I can only choose one. There is no long paperwork in opening our files, all I want is a name. Good luck in finding out about your family.
