Hello all, and GL with your search. Mine is a little strange as I am searching for both sets of parents. My adoption failed when I was 8-10 and was placed back into the care of the Crown. I definitely am passively searching for my BM but have now begun to think about searching for my adoptive parents for answers and clues they may hold regarding my BM. I know the family, as a whole, moved to the United States but am unsure of when or even if they are still here(I too have since moved to the United States) I have no ideas of where to start so any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

If you were born in the UK, then I believe the records are unsealed so you should be able to at least get OBC though I believe you are supposed to have mandatory counselling - though if you are overseas they may waive that. What sort of info do you have on your bmom. As for your APs, would the appropriate government dept have their info?
