I can understand her wanting people to know her user name changed but at the same time I can see (based on the posts so far) it turning into a "I want to change my user name" bandwagon.
Just wanted to make sure you saw it. :)
thanks! No...and I'm so done with her I tell you! She's a major PITA and KNOWS that a name change isn't just a "no problem" request.
UGH.
I deleted it.

Sort of figured, but not knowing what you had discussed with her . . . .
Maybe she will get mad and stomp off now. ;)
I can only hope. I'm not kidding either...she's been a major thorn in my rear end for 2 months now about this issue.
Can I ask a stupid question? Did she go from posting her LAST name publicly to her first for the sake of privacy?
Wouldn't, oh, NO names have been a better choice? haha!

Christine - Her other suggestions did indeed include her first name of "Mindy" which is also in her siggy. I TRIED to explain to her that it just makes no sense to change it to her first name and she then finally came up with this one.
I originally wanted her to keep it similar to what she had. For example, "Mbari" kwim? But she felt that was too identifiable. ya....I know.
Cath brought up the subject of changing user names on this thread now too. http://forums.adoption.com/birthparent-support/392519-old-stuff-still-gets-me-3.html As if that thread didn't have enough issues. I deleted it as unnecessary and off topic to the thread. Hopefully the correct move.
I think I'm triggered by the thread about triggers, LOL. I'd like to say that one of the reasons I post less than I used to is because I'm tired of everyone being triggered by everyone else! (How's that for a generalization?)
