120 hearing have you heard of this?

our little guy was placed with us as adoption parents TPR. he has been with us for 10 months now. and for the past 10 months his previous foster parents have been fighting to get him back they their mind right after he was placed with us. We were chosen to have him remain with us as his adoptive parents but now they are appealing and they said it is going to a 120 hearing. we were set to adopt after 90 days but they have a lawyer and have been fighting to get him back. Does anyone have any advice or wise word. Maybe been through something similar. This is very hard for all of us we love him so much. He is our only child and couldnt stand to lose him. he loves us as much as we love him. Thank you.
