It's true I had over heard my parents talking about it when I was younger( my brother always taunted me with it too) but never really believed it until I turned 20-21, was already moved out of the house and going to get a new social security card. To get a new card you have to know your father's name...well I got it wrong, apparently somehow my adopted parents whose names should have been on my records weren't and my birth parents where! (To clear some things up my aunt and uncle adopted me when I was 3 and I grew up thinking my birth mother was my aunt.) My dad not knowing what to say when I called him in shock over what they told me at the social security office tried to LIE to me and told me it was a huge mistake and he would take care of it!!! Needless to say I didn't get my Social Security card....almost 6 months later my grandmother told me the truth over the phone! No one will talk about it to me now....which is why I'm on here trying to find my 4 (1 deceased) older siblings.
thank you brother to share such a great and use full sharing, keep it up

Not only that but even though they ALL know the names of who adopted my older siblings NO ONE will tell me, they think it's best I don't go looking for them because according to my mom "their older than you, not really family but more like strangers."
