I have been following along on here for awhile and am active on the foster parenting threads but wanted to take a minute and introduce myself. My husband and I have been foster parents for the last 4 years. When we got started we never thought we would be considered a "large family" but for the last two years we have had at minimum 5 children and most of the time 7. We are on the road to adopting 3 of our boys soon and are hoping to adopt their 2 sisters as well. So, if all goes as planned we will be a "large family" forever. It might be neat to hear everyone's BEST piece of advice for a "large" family.
I have a large family but all are not under one roof. In the home currently are children 18, 12, 9, 7. We only think we are large when we go out to eat and have to wait for a table. The increase in laundry and cooking more food also says large family, me I do not thnk it is large enough would love to have more!
