Hi everyone!
:grr: This is me today. It is Friday and lets be honest the chances that any caseworker is going to call back about scheduling interviews is pretty slim. My husband and I are still waiting on our first placement. We finished classed at the end of May and then we finished our license in July. Our caseworker was sick so there was a bit of delay.
Anyways, this past Monday we got an email from SNAP that asked if we would be interested in two little boys. We studied about their conditions and then decided to pursue. The next step we were told is to talk on the phone with the caseworker and then to schedule interviews based from that. But no WORD since Monday. I know that I should be patient but wow!
How long did the rest of you wait once someone asked specifically for you? Any words of advice and support would be appreciated it.
We are SNAP and interviewed for a sib group last year. It took us about 2 weeks to hear back after they requested our homestudy.
We still were interviewed with 3 other couples and did not get chosen.

We submitted our homestudy for two little girls just days after getting our license in April, 2 weeks and 3 days later we got the call for the interview. Unfortunately, like Dalynn, we interviewed with 2 other families and were not chose . Since then we have submitted several homestudies on other sibling groups and since haven't been called for an interview.
