Wow you are busy!!! If I remember correctly, you recently moved to NJ?
I am in Morris- haven't had a call in about a year.
I currently live in Middlesex county, but previously lived in Somerset and Monmouth. Funny thing is I never had placemenets from my own county!! My one adopted daughter came to me from the Hudson Secaucus office. Loved all my workers from that office!!
How are you guys getting children from other counties? My RW said that is not possible unless a SW from the other county calls her and says she needs a family from our county.

I once had a sibling group from Bergen County. I think they try the open homes in their own county first, and then go to other counties.

I think it has something to do with getting your name down to Trenton. When we started, we were told our names were sent right to Trenton and we got a call six weeks later for an infant in Hudson County (we are in Hunterdon). Around the same time as us, a friend was starting the process. She waited and waited and called and called and finally spoke to someone and her name was only being considered/circulated within our county...once she spoke to someone about getting it down to Trenton she got a call from another county and that boy is now her adopted son.
I am honestly very frustrated with fact that they won't place out of county. I haven't gotten a call for a placement in over a YEAR! I appreciate that this may mean that things are going well for kids in my county, but I know other counties in close vicinty to mine have many, many placment. So, they paid all this money to license me and I have 4 open beds.
I'm frustrated :(
