Hi everyone. My husband and I have been listed for 11 months for Fairbanks Counseling and Adoption and 9 months with Catholic Social Services in Anchorage. We have had 13 opportunities and have not been matched. We are starting to feel like an Alaska adoption isn't going to happen for us. I am wonder if anyone can recommend an agency out side of Alaska? Who have you used, and how long have you waited? Thanks, Diana

I was curious what your feelings were with the Fairbanks Adoption and Counseling office? I asked a few questions by phone and they wouldn't even answer a basic question and sent me a application packet and said it would be $75 to speak to someone. That threw me off. We are currently looking into Lifelong, but I doing more research into them. It doesn't seem the Alaskan agencies are doing what others are, they seem outdated and I worry about signing with one of them. What were your costs to apply with FAC?
