Easy fast

Just wanted to wish everyone an easy fast. I will not be fasting this year; I may not be breastfeeding, but I am carrying a 5-month-old around all day, so it doesn't seem like a good idea. However, this will be the first year I haven't fasted, so I'm missing the idea a little in a weird way. It's hard to believe that last year at break-the-fast I was sobbing uncontrollably about not having a baby. Oh, and also wanted to share a wonderful experience. C and I were called to the Torah on Rosh Hashanah in honor of his first high holidays (and the rabbi made a point of using the opportunity to remind the congregation of the diverse picture/ makeup of Jewish families as well as to - again - welcome C to our community). Easy fast!
