conversion is finally done!

Just want to share my excitement. C's conversion has been a long-drawn-out process. We did a bris when he was first with me in May, but since we were out of state at the time, didn't want to do the naming. My rabbi also wanted to wait until we finalized to do the conversion. We finally were able to finalize at the end of December, and got to go to the mikveh yesterday (supposed to be last week, but the rabbi ended up having a conflict and had to postpone) and had his naming today! He was such a champ in the mikveh especially since they forgot to turn the heat up and it was FREEZING! Didn't even cry when we dunked or anything. It was so beautiful, amazing, wonderful, and I am so grateful for my friends, family and community right now. Just wanted to share my excitement!
